Fuel the solution, not the fire

As summer approaches, we once again face a seasonal disease we know will return: forest fires. Yet every year, we remain underprepared. Forest management and biomass valorisation are our vaccine. By removing excessive biomass and using local resources wisely, we can reduce the risk of catastrophic fires while supporting rural communities.

On June 2nd, Bioenergy Europe will launch Fuel the Solution, not the Fire, a campaign showcasing local experiences from Spain, Italy, and Greece, and host a special event at the European Parliament with representatives from the bioenergy, forestry, and local sectors.
