CCUS 2024: Capturing a Net Zero Future

The CCSA’s annual flagship UK conference, CCUS 2024: Capturing a Net Zero Future, is taking place at Central Hall Westminster in London on Tuesday 15^th & Wednesday 16^th October 2024.

The conference takes place in a critical year for CCUS. The CCUS industry is ramping up in the EU – the recent publication of the EU Industrial Carbon Management strategy has reinforced the EU’s commitment to the deployment of CCS, and in the UK, the selection of the Track-1 and Track-2 CCUS Clusters has brought the UK close to reaching final investment decision for the first UK CCUS projects. At the international level, CCUS received its first ever mention in the final outcome of COP28 last year.

CCUS 2024, now in its sixth year, provides an excellent opportunity for Governments around the world, industry and wider stakeholders to drive progress on CCUS, demonstrating the contribution that CCUS can make to meeting the goals of the Paris Agreement ahead of COP29 in Azerbaijan. We expect around 800 attendees, comprising senior representatives from across the CCUS community: policymakers, regulators, developers, technology providers, representatives from the legal and finance sectors, civil society and other stakeholders.
