Domestic Heating
About the Working Group
The Working Group Domestic Heating was created in 2012 in order to promote biomass in the domestic heating sector. In the framework of the EU’s long-term decarbonisation strategy, tackling the heating and cooling (H&C) sector is getting more and more attention. Biomass can offer a wide range of sustainable solutions, including in the residential sector. The key topics discussed by the WG include building regulations, air emissions and stoves & boilers certifications. This WG is open to all Bioenergy Europe’s members willing to understand and exchange on domestic heating related policies.
