Pelletization
Pelletization is the process of compressing or molding fine particulate materials into small, dense, and uniformly-sized pellets. It is widely used for biomass, such as wood, agricultural residues, and other organic matter, to create a sustainable fuel source.
However, the process is also applicable to various other materials, including minerals like iron ore, chemicals, and feed ingredients, to facilitate handling, storage, and transportation, and to improve the efficiency of subsequent processing or utilization.
