Working Group Domestic Heating

In the framework of the EU’s long-term decarbonisation strategy, tackling the heating and cooling (H&C) sector is getting more and more attention. Biomass can offer a wide range of sustainable solutions, including in the residential sector.


The upcoming Working Group on 9 March, 14:30-17:00 (CET) will provide an overview of the opportunities for the sector within key EU policies and actively discuss Bioenergy Europe's positions, as well as steps ahead.

More specifically, discussions will include:

+ Revision of REDIII and EPBD
+ Status of the Clean Air Tech Hub
+ Potential merger of lot10 (air-to-air heat pumps) and lot20 (local space heaters) in EU Energy Labelling
