BBE Seminar on Sustainability of Biofuels

The German Bioenergy Association Bundesverband Bioenergie e.V. (BBE) will organise together with the Union for the Promotion of Oil and Protein Plants Union zur Förderung von Oel- und Proteinpflanzen e. V. (UFOP) a seminar on Sustainability of Biofuels on 9 December, 9:30AM - 5:15PM

The presentations will focus on current topics affecting the entire value chain of the biofuel industry concerning the transposition of REDII at national level in Germany along with the Act on Further Development of the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Quota and the new version of the amendment to the Biofuel and Biomass Sustainability Ordinance. Further a report published by the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE) regarding the quantities of biofuels will be presented, and an overview on the future of the transport sector and the necessary mobilisation of new innovative alternative fuels will be given. The seminar language will be German.
