Working Group Wood Chips (online)

Discover the market's current state of play in terms of supply availability, prices, trade and more!

Today waste wood combustion in dedicated plants or in co-combustion with wood chips and industrial pellets has become common practice in many EU Member States. Still chips obtained from recycled wood can be considered both as a product or a waste, according to the different legislations applied and to the different Member States’ interpretations. With a group of stakeholders (traders, users and wood waste associations) the complexities on the use of wood waste and the current EU trade will also be discussed in this second meeting of the year.
