Working Group Sustainability (online)

Bioenergy Europe believes that sustainability is a key factor in the development of the bioenergy sector in Europe. Through WG Sustainability, Bioenergy Europe has formulated inclusive positions advocating in favour of a harmonised EU sustainability policy for solid biomass for heating and electricity production. 

In this second meeting of 2021, on 23rd of April 14:00 -16:30 (CET), items of discussion will include:

+ Operational guidance on evidence demonstrating compliance with sustainability criteria for forest biomass
+ State of implementation of REDII Directive in the EU Member States
+ Updates on Bioenergy Europe's advocacy activities

 

Please note that the working groups are for Bioenergy Europe Members, however, observers are welcome at the discretion of Bioenergy Europe. If you wish to participate as an observer please contact the Bioenergy Europe team
