15 October 2020

100% RHC

The 2020 edition of the 100% Renewable Heating and Cooling for a Sustainable Future – 100% RHC Event, will take place online on the 15th October 2020, from 2 pm to 5.30 pm (CET).

About

Please note the RHC annual conference was originally planned to take place during ISEC 2020. However, due to the ISEC 2020 having now been postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic (more information can be found here) , it was decided that the RHC ETIP’s 100% RHC Event would still go ahead as an independent online event.

The annual Conference of ETIP RHC, 100% RHC EVENT 2020 (15 October) is organised back-to-back with the Joint Programming Conference (14-16 October). The Joint Programming Platform Smart Energy Systems (JPP SES) together with collaboration partners (ETIP SNET, ERA-Net GEOTHERMICA, EERA and partners of Mission Innovation) and the European Commission gather a powerful network of national and regional funding programs, transnational RDI projects and initiatives, SET-Plan working groups, European Technology and Innovation Platforms and EERA-Joint Programs.

Why attend?

The 100% RHC EVENT is the perfect occasion to present RHC ETIP’s upcoming publication, the Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda for the RHC sector – SRIA. This document will be the backbone of the 100% RHC Event 2020, which will include:

  • A keynote speech from RHC ETIP’s Chair, Javier Urchueguía
  • A panel discussion on innovative technology developments for a 100% RHC sector: the opportunity to discuss about how the RHC ETIP imagines a 2050 scenario based on 100% renewable heating and cooling in buildings, cities, districts and industry, and what are the needs from the research and innovation field to reach this target.
  • A national roundtable: representatives from different sectors of an EU member state will exchange their views on how the target of a 100% renewable heating and cooling future is being approached in that country.

The RHC ETIP Secretariat is working on the details of the program and will inform you about confirmed speakers via the official website.

Deadline for registration is Wednesday 30th September.  Interested? Register for the event and view the agenda.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 825998.
