Working Group: Pellets
Discussions will focus on how the pellet industry is coping with market fluctuations.
+ Low heating seasons;
+ Sudden high demand;
+ COVID-19 crisis
This Working Group will also look at how the sector can work towards resolving such issues looking at best practices to cope with market fluctuations including:
+ Storage strategies;
+ Pellet usage diversification;
+ Financial hedging;
*Working Groups (WGs) are restricted to Bioenergy Europe members. However, non-members are welcome to attend as external observers, on a one-off basis and under certain conditions. Bioenergy Europe Secretariat reserves the right to refuse or accept external observers' participation to the WGs.
