In early 2016, Bioenergy Europe created a Working Group on Pellets to offer services to the many pellet professionals involved in its networks. This Working Group offers all pellet stakeholders a platform to meet and discuss common issues and concerns regarding the development of the EU pellet market, as well as identify and propose actions to overcome current barriers.
Next meeting: 15th November, Hanover
This meeting will focus on safety and the future market developments of the pellet industry.
Representatives from WPAC (Wood Pellet Association of Canada) Safety Committee will share their experience on safety, allowing the Canadian industry to drastically decrease the number of incidents in only a few years. The debate will also touch upon the potential of biorefining, the integration of the industry, the flourishing of small scale plants, etc.
Access to Bioenergy Europe's Working Group events is typically reserved for members. However, non-members can attend one event as a trial, such as this Pellet Workshop. For any further information, contact Gilles Gauthier.
